Among the recently enacted CARS Rule’s many shortcomings is the profound and negative effect it will have on the sale of F&I products. Although the CARS Rule is on pause pending NADA/TADA’s court challenge, it is likely to return in some form. This session will explore what the Rule requires, what is likely to emerge from the legal challenge to its validity, and how agents can help their dealership clients navigate its requirements.
